Description
Trival Lamp – A Fusion of Modern Technology and Traditional Craftsmanship
The “Trival” lamp blends modern technology with traditional craftsmanship. Its unique design combines hand-modeled and digitally modified elements, creating a harmonious mix of 3D printing and artisanal work. This approach ensures that the lamp is not only functional but also visually distinctive and unique.
Materials and Technology
The base of the lamp is made from a biomaterial, a mixture of proteins and waste materials such as paper, wood, and cotton. The lampshades, first hand-modeled and then digitally refined, are produced using 3D printing technology from PLA
Sustainability and Reusability
A key aspect of the project is the reintegration of existing materials into the production cycle. The lamp’s outer components are compostable, and a special biodegradable coating allows for the recycling of unwanted textile waste. The internal electronics are designed to be reusable, significantly extending the product’s lifespan. This approach not only reduces waste but also minimizes the need for new production.
Customizable Design
One of the lamp’s standout features is its interchangeable components. Users can easily customize the appearance of the lamp by swapping out different parts, ensuring that the product stays relevant and aesthetically pleasing over time. The design allows for aesthetic updates without compromising the core functionality, promoting longevity and reducing waste.
